It's always refreshing to hear "remixes" that don't actually sound like remixes, but rather original productions. It's almost more appropriate to call them "reproduced" rather than remixed. Maribou State are probably so capable of carrying out this feat due to the fact that they are well renowned for their own beautiful original productions. In this case, though, they have taken George Maple's effervescent vocals and ironed out an excellent downtempo vibe peppered with carefully placed sparkly piano riffs.
