The Generationals are as likable as a sunny day after months of winter, and when it comes to their music, we can never get enough of it, as their feel-good sound is always a good listen. Their latest single, "Gold Silver Diamond", has easily been one of our favourite songs of the summer, and so it comes as no surprise that the second single, "Black Lemon", from their new album is just as good. The New Orleans pair has a knack for creating catchy, yet simplified indie-pop, and "Black Lemon" is the personification of this, as the lead woodwind synth gives way to low-fi-situating, harmonizing vocals that the duo will no doubt carry us into September with with the smile-inducing vibes of this track.
