About two months ago, indie duo GEMS began one of the more interesting release strategies in music: releasing a new song every month on the date of the full moon. Tonight, as you may have guessed, there is a full moon and lunar eclipse, so we have received an extra special track. "X Valentine", GEMS' track, was actually inspired by the breakup between Lindsay Pitts and Clifford John Usher of the band, as they face their first Valentine's Day in over nine years without the other. The song finds the two reflecting fondly on their time together and embracing the new opportunities provided by their breakup. Stream "X Valentine" below, and learn more about what's happening in the sky tonight HERE.
