Although this our first time covering the Israeli trio, Garden City Movement, the sounds they've previously released are a pure indication that we've been sleeping on this band prior to today. Thankfully, we're here to properly give this synth-pop act their just due on our pages with the coverage of their latest effort, "Terracota", that serves as a great first impression. With the well-conceived inclusions of garage drums, heavily reverberated sitar chords, and creative vocal manipulations, what we find here is a unique interpretation of music that engages us from beginning to end, and it's safe to say that Garden City Movement has our attention now. "Terracotta" will be released on Garden City Movement's forthcoming EP, Bengali Cinema, on June 23rd.
