G-Eazy and Jarreau Vandal both have been killing it with their respective content, so it makes sense to see the meshing of their sounds on the latter’s remix of “Let’s Get Lost”. The single, dropped in the wake of the rapper’s upcoming album, features Devon Baldwin’s beautiful tone, and all around them, G-Eazy cruises. It’s nothing unusual for him, as he’s been slaying for a while now, but Jarreau’s electronic bolstering behind him here really works to push excitement into the pace. To be sure, Jarreau employs plush synth chords and well-integrated percussion throughout, enhancing the energy without subtracting attention away from the original artists (though he certainly does his part to attract his own). The tactful additions allow the effort to thrive in new light, no doubt, but the harmony of all three artists is really the highlight, as they all situate terrificly aside each on the track’s newest take.
