The audio for Fyfe's most recent release, "For You", came out about a month ago, and we've been enjoying it ever since, but the new visuals that just dropped to accompany the song have been beautifully crafted, and so a follow-up post was definitely in order. Like the music, the video makes do with a relativity minimalistic palette, and the black and white filter that eventually gives way to brief flashes of color towards the end of the piece perfectly mirrors the emotions and responses that Fyfe seems to be conjuring up with his deft production work. The video opens with a shot of an anonymous dancer silhouetted against a lit-up doorway, and from there, you're treated to a whole host of post-production trickery as this mysterious figure moves back and forth amongst strobe lights that flicker violently against the brick backdrop. The project was cooked up by Feel Good Lost, a production company with an already-impressive creative pedigree, but the real magic here is how well the audio and visuals sync up together. It's a testament to Fyfe's prowess as a musician that they were able to pull off a video that was so simple, yet so powerful, and it's got us excited to hear what he's going to come out with next.
