Fyfe's music has always felt incredibly organic, and, like a seed that's grown up to become a gorgeous tree, Paul Dixon's (Fyfe) songwriting and production is incredibly intricate, well-devised, and always able to give the listener reasons to reflect on more than is presented on the surface. His B-side single, "Brooklyn, MI", is no different, as there's more than meets the eye after the first thirty seconds. The track starts out slow with the mood-setting guitar leading the way, and Paul's sentimental cadence follows suit. As the track goes on, it blossoms nicely as the handclap-led percussion allows the overall effort to have a distinct sense of sonic closure.
