"Sleep Walking" is Sydney-based artist or act's FROST's debut effort, and his (or their) ear-catching style definitely makes a memorable first impression. Featuring slick, crystal-clear production reminiscent of ZHU and Jon Hopkins', "Sleep Walking" is an extremely high-quality slice of instrumental music, and while FROST is clearly adept at production, it's the unique sample choice employed that makes the track stand out. FROST samples an old-school, soulful vocal from an unidentified singer, and the haunting melody perfectly complements the dark, focused nature of the production. FROST's "Sleep Walking" is an outstanding piece of dance music, and given that this is only his (or their) debut, you'd be wise to keep your eye out for future releases.
