FREJA is a fresh name out of Copenhagen, Denmark, and she's jumping into the music world with a soaring new single, "Lonely", released taoday. FREJA labels her music "power-pop", and we couldn't think of a more fitting word to define her sound—one consisting of smashing percussion, sunlit synths, energizing guitar strums, and her very own brilliant vocals. Although her lyrics on the track sound like they should be accompanied by melancholic instrumentation, she twists what could be a dreary love song into an invigorating emotional release, and the result has left us incredibly excited about her work. "Lonely" is taken from FREJA's forthcoming White Magic Spells EP, which is set for release on October 9 and can be pre-ordered on iTunes now.
