We may not have realized it at first, but Freedom Fry's "The Wilder Mile" has been begging for a remix the one Urban Contact provided here for quite some time. And like what UC provided for the likes of Dawa and Coldplay, this tropical house-tinged interpretation is the perfect addition to the lo-fi indie-pop sounds found on the original. There's really something about hearing synth melodies that were meant for warm weather-surrounding, reverb-soaked vocals, and with that lead guitar heading up the track here, the elements UC has embedded into the original really proves to be the perfect accumulation of the genres meshing together.
