About a month ago, we introduced you to Freedom Fry through their nostalgic ode to California, "Home", and now, the French-American duo is back with a more folksy sound, which they pull off just as well. Freedom Fry is the combination of Marie Seyrat (France) and Bruce Driscoll (Michigan-born), and it's clear that both artists supply their own territorial influences within their music, which is symbolized by their name (American Freedom + French Fry = Freedom Fry). As we previously mentioned, the duo's new single, "The Wilder Mile", possesses an optimistic indie-folk vibe which can brighten anyone's day. Whether it's the constant guitar plucking, the tambourine-clap percussion, the cheery whistling, or the vocal harmonies and line-rotating, something in this tune is bound to get you hooked.
