There's a high likelihood that Francis Dale is an individual that's completely new to you, but when you hear his music, you're instantly going to wonder how that's possible at all. He's a vocalist and producer with two incredible EPs out that have been playing in his home country of Portugal for a few years now, but, rest assured that his time to infiltrate the United States is on its way. Usually when one is met with bodies of work from new acts, it's unusual to want to share all of it (or even like any of it at all), but with Francis' 2015-released EP, □, and also his debut EP, Lost In Finite, from 2013, there's rarely a single bad track on them. Francis' music is rooted in electronic and soul, but it manages to be unique, which of course is a plus. His vocal range crosses from elegant-sounding to high-arching falsetto levels, and the electronic-led production that he employs is just as impressive. Francis Dale is a real complete act on account of all this, and he just might be one of the more exciting artist discoveries that you'll make this year.
