British singer-songwriter Frances made a quite a splash with her debut track, "Grow", a lovely, slow-burning piano ballad that lit up the blogosphere and introduced us to her warm and inviting sound. The latest track off her forthcoming EP is "I Care", however, and it features an unexpected collaborator in Montreal producer Pomo. Pomo's analog synths and organic-sounding beats match perfectly with Frances' world-class vocals and piano-driven melodies here, and they usher in more excitement for the rest of Frances' new EP out this Friday.
