There are a few things you need to know about Frances' impressive year thus far. First, she has released a slew of impressive tracks and her acclaimed debut EP while embarking on her own tour throughout September and October supporting James Bay on a leg of his own tour. Second, she's been able to create beautiful collaborations, and the Pomo-assisted "I Care" and R I T U A L-featuring "When It Comes To Us" are proof. Now, she's able to leave another incredible impression on us, and that's through her channeling of Howard Lawrence of Disclosure for new track "Borrowed Time". It's a track that incorporates a lot of the electronic elements used on her other tracks, sure, but, on it, Frances departs from the downtempo and enters the club, offering a shimmering testament to both acts' talent, musicianship, and versatility that we have come to absolutely love.
