We stumbled upon Melbourne-based duo Fortunes. almost three years ago now, and while their work since that time hasn't quite made the cut here in terms of what we like, their latest number, "Bomber", is one certainly worth listening to. The intriguing, collaborative sound the two possess still remains the focal point on "Bomber", as Conor McCabe's distinct, hip-hop-laced R&B deliveries fit excitingly beside producer Barnaby Matthew's deft sound design. The duo incorporates a forward-thinking approach throughout the piece, too, and what we're given is another innovative yet listenable take on the genres described.
