Everyone experiences times during their days, weeks, months, etc. when music just seems to sound the same and is generally uninspiring. The great artists are the ones who are able to smash through those aforementioned times with incredible music that sounds different, and Mura Masa is definitely pleading his case for an artist of that stature with his latest effort out. Although we're still a bit away from Mura Masa's anticipated debut album, what we have here with his latest track, a remix of "Nigh Swimmers" by Foals, is definitely freshening up our excitement for that. We're digging the glitchy, nighttime-ready sound he's displaying on it, and we're hoping it's an indication of some experimentation he might have on the project coming out.
