If you're hoping for Flume's new album, Skin, to push the needle when it comes to advancing his sound, the second, Vince Staples and KUČKA-featuring single from it, "Smoke & Retribution", is certainly going to help in that regard. The track is one that sounds nothing like his past material, and even compared to the first single, "Never Be Like You", that he released a short while ago, the effort is completely on the opposite side of sound. It's got glitchy, huge-sounding elements alongside abrasive raps and singing as well, and it's surely going to keep the momentum going for the new record as it continues coming out.
