When Flume tweeted a few weeks ago that new music was coming we had no idea it meant bringing in the gangster rapper Freddie Gibbs for a verse on "Holdin On'. As far as expectations goes, this collaboration would be something that we least expected, but now that it's here, this collab definitely works. This new version of "Holdin On" is from Flume's new deluxe version of his debut self-titled album that will feature 4 discs. In this package will be the original album, collection of Flume remixes, DVD documenting his Prism Tour, producer disc with Ableton Live 9 Lite software with session setups for stems of "Insane," "Holdin On," and "On Top" & finally a rap mixtape. This really does bring a new meaning to 'deluxe' that's for sure. Look for this package to be released on Nov 12th via Mom & Pop.
