If you're a fan of satin, downtempo R&B, listen to "ATS", a gorgeous highlight track from Perth-based act Flower Drums' debut EP, 28 Mansions, that was released earlier this year (you won't be disappointed by it). The four describe their sound as "asthmatic pop music", which is quite intriguing at first, but evident on "ATS" when their raspy, evocative vocals guide the instrumentations alongside them. The piece is one ideally fit for dimly lit settings, but, overall, it manages to open doors for an audience of several sonic tastes.
