Trap songs tend to blend in with other trap songs; while many may be very good, they can become far too similar to one another. The best of the trap genre need something to make them stand out, an extra flare of some sort. Today, French producer ƒlechette stormed onto our radar with a respective track that possesses exactly what it needs to separate itself from the host of others. "Alsarah" is different; the buildup is fresh, consisting of incoming bass, sprinkled with vocal chops, and littered with electronic bliss. However, what makes the track so addictive is the foreign (perhaps Arabic or Persian) chanting that overlays the beat. The woman's beautiful cry is empowered by the building bass in the background, as well as the scattered percussion. ƒlechette picked an ideal sample and handled it wonderfully in "Alsarah".
