When scouring the internet for new, undiscovered acts, you can sometimes spend weeks without finding anything inspiring at all. It can get discouraging at times, but, at the end of the day, when you come across music like FLANCH's, it makes the struggle of digging worth the while. Normally, when we new acts emerge on the internet, they come equipped with one track, but for this Indianapolis-based group, they have offered an eight-track project that's really filled with nothing you'd expect. Most of the body of work stretches out with industrial-like ambient, glitchy, and generally weird instrumentals, but when its vocal-assisted tracks appear, they're the ones that really stick most out (you'll see that when listening to "pretty girl" after "purgatory4u" and "hal0" below).
