Growing up Aaron Velasquez aka Flamingosis had to live in the shadows of his Father who was a world frisbee champion in the 70's. Not only was the guy a champion but he is also the guy who invented the famous frisbee free-style move 'Flamingosis' (pictured above). Yes this is true, I swear. Those are the kind of footsteps you just can't follow, so in order to keep up with the free-flowing spirit of his family's past, Aaron has taken his talents to the music side of life. These talents have surfaced on his new project, Reworks, that has him re-working "mellow, alternative music". It's tough to know exactly what song he is sampling individually because the vocal bits are chopped up in ways that are sometimes unrecognizable. There are however some songs where the sample is obvious, but for the most part you will have a hard time picking them out. Have a listen and see if you can pick them out. The favorites are below.
