British artist Twigs (now known as FKA twigs) has always been known as an experimentalist, stepping outside the box with really odd visuals (just check out her last single, "How's That" or "Hide (4 of 4)"). Her latest single, "Water Me," is a beautifully minimal tale of heartbreak: "He told me I was so small / I told him water me". The song was produced by Yeezus producer Arca, who provides a gentle, filtered instrumental. Jesse Kanda, the same director responsible for the video of FKA twigs' first single, also directed the video below for "Water Me". The singer is now signed to Young Turks (home of The xx, Sampha and SBTRKT) and is set to release EP2 on September 9. EP2 will feature four songs: "How's That," "Water Me," "Papi Pacify" and "Ultraviolet". [Consequence of Sound]
