FKA twigs made a serious statement with her last single, "Two Weeks", signifying the magnitude that her music can reach. As we know, though, there's still more to come from the soon-to-be pop star, because her Young Turks debut, LP1, is coming out in a few weeks (August 12th), and brings us with it today the latest leak (it's not an official single) from the album, "Video Girl". Much like "Two Weeks", "Video Girl" is shadowy, smokey, and mysterious in its overall tone, but as we found out from her Pitchfork interview, the new track is specifically about her previous work as video dancer. So as much as the sonic sense delves you into the unknown, rest easy knowing that there's some comprehension behind the very interesting sound. Even without the meaning, though, FKA twigs' music is truly extraordinary, and we simply can't wait for the full-length to drop. Pre-order LP1 via iTunes.
