There isn't a more pure-sounding indie-electronic duo out than Fjord, and that isn't a fact that you can dispute. They've effectively captured what it means to refresh with a musical composition two times already, and now with their third, "Shapes", they've firmly established themselves as one the freshest acts out. It's possible, of course, that their wintry cover arts have had something to do with this, but the super clean vocals and production that the Canadians present are stunning on their own. With "Shapes", we're given nothing not to like, nothing to critique, and nothing to wish more for. They've everything that they need to have on the effort, and they captivate all too easily as a result. We're smitten with the work.
