It was a treat for us to come across Fine Print's music nine months ago when they first released "About You" (it's since been released again, as most labels would have it), and, now with two works afterwords coming into our gaze, including "Tell Me" here, we're sure that the duo from the UK will be on the radar of most everybody out. Their latest piece here, "Tell Me", is a supremely downtempo, slightly jazzy number that makes excellent use of sparse instrumentation, excruciatingly intimate lyrics, and a perfectly soulful voice to wrap everything up. It's really a special piece, and it's sure to see its way around the blogs as the two's new, debut EP readies itself for release August 28 through B3SCI. [via Stereogum]
