We like the blending and bending of genres over here at HD, and the current year hasn’t disappointed yet with the emergence of artists doing just that with their sound. Fine Print, a fresh electronic-soul act from across the pond, has such a versatile sound, and it's one that's equally apt for either a sexy hideaway nightspot, or for a comfortable and cozy listen. The duo from London is versed already in working beautiful tempo changes, and here they dust their synthesized beat with some classic instruments, most notably a sax that surprises at the end. For some artists, these sorts of sonic decisions would seem forced, but Fine Print is able to leave us drenched in their jazzy ways that we increasingly love. The two's self-titled debut EP drops August 28, and we're absolutely looking forward to what other great sounds they have to share on it.
