We're beginning to understand that one undiscovered act or artist leads to another very quickly. It's what we're calling "the friend rule", and what we mean by that is that if you find a new artist, chances are very high that you're going to find more than a few talented friends alongside their social media accounts and other online paths. Our case in point is Langsaw, an artist we literally just posted about. He has a singer-songwriter friend in Finch Vercoe, a Wellington-based artist, that has been undiscovered up until this point, and because of the connection, we've now a new track to get excited over and pass along to you all. The new artists, Finch (cool name, huh?) has only released two tracks on her SoundCloud page so far (both were produced by Langsaw, ironically enough), and between them, we're taking a great liking to "Same". It's a nice and light listen, and Finch's vocals on the track, while not planet-disrupting, are extraordinarily well-sounding alongside the groovy production Langsaw provides. For that reason, we think there's sufficient evidence that "Same" is going to be worth your time. Get into it below.
