It's finally here. Fickle Friends has been teasing a new release for a minute now, so it's nice to finally get to share their latest single, "Could Be Wrong", in all of its synth-pop glory. While the band never actually lost any form with their previous releases (we've loved every single one thus far), "Could Be Wrong" feels like a much closer sibling to their debut track, "S W I M", and we're all the more excited because of it. There's a lot of summery pop music out there, but this pretty much trumps all of it, and it may just be the perfect sonic companion for to a long day relaxing by your favorite sun-soaked spot. "Could Be Wrong" is only Fickle Friends' fourth single, so they've still got a long ways to go as a band, but it feels like we've already been enjoying their work for years now, and that level of familiarity can only be achieved if the band is putting out truly memorable tunes. You'll want to add this one to your go-to summer playlist, and you can be assured that the sun will get brighter and the sky more blue with each passing note on the track. "Could Be Wrong" will appear on Velvet, the group's upcoming debut EP. Pre-order the single on iTunes (it will be released on March 30).
