When we last covered FERDIN&ND, we noted the act had one of the most captivating entrances with their effervescent "Your Love." Now, we have the second track from their debut EP, the striking, brooding "Don't Wanna". Evidently, "Don't Wanna" is a turnaround from the bounciness of "Your Love". While the vocal is still the focal point of the track, the downtempo, spacious production evokes a new moodiness from the enigmatic act. Its bass-heavy backing glides in partnership with glitch-y percussion, calling up a sound that would complement The Weeknd's early work. The song is sexy and sleek, and, although it's a complete change from what we have already seen from the project, with it, FERDIN&ND continues to prove that focusing on the music is what makes it tops. "Don't Wanna", as we said, is another track off of FERDIN&ND's upcoming EP, which currently does not have a name, but look for it in the coming months. Listen to "Don't Wanna" below.
