Educated" (Acid Future's Further Education Dub) [Premiere]

Acid Future's remix of FEMME's "Educated" starts out like most house tracks do (with that fast paced kick drum), but when that main synth and vocal sample drops in, things start to get dance-worthy on us. Deep bass thumps kick into gear, and a set of higher pitched, almost undulating, rhythms slide right in, giving the whole piece a very liquid feel. As the body of the song progresses, Acid Future makes sure the track doesn't get too comfortable, and the little tweaks he adds here-and-there mid song, really pay off by the end. It probably still would have been worth a listen if he decided to loop the drop and let it wind out, but instead he elected to take the rework to another level. When it's all said and done Acid Future's take on FEMME's "Educated" is a big departure from the original, but it's unique take is really what makes it such a dance floor-worthy gem.
