If you've been keeping up at all with the electronic on HD, chances are high you've probably seen Feki's name pop up before. The dude is a bedrock for consistency, and his having recently won a GRMM remix contest only further testifies to his artistic adeptness. To be sure, the Brisbane producer has appeared three times on the site—each time a result of his productions having yielded incredible sonic fruitful—and surely, the dazzling arrays of synths and pleasing atmospheres embedded within have contributed to the features. They're lively, the electrical landscapes are, but they're hardly ever overwhelming, and that's because Feki knows where to draw the line between "animated" and "obnoxious" on each effort he puts forth. His latest, seemingly random work, "Nothing Lasts Forever", is no exception to the trend, and though it's a bit soft-spoken compared to his previous works, it's all the synthesized goodness in it we've come to know and love the producer for. An especially alluring arpeggiating synth sneaks its way into the effort, too, giving life to the chords, sample stabs, and instrumental claps that occur throughout, and though the track gets rhythmic in spots almost to the point of monotony, it never plunges too far in any one direction so as to lose our interest. Feki's far skilled to let that be the case, and his latest proves once again that we can always believe in the Brisbane talent to come correct with any and all works he's inspired to release.
