When making bright tunes, artists often have difficulty hitting a sound that's adequately poppy but still in possession of a certain authenticity. However, this is certainly not a problem with New Zealand-based songstress Fazerdaze, as she's wonderfully masterminded a sun-soaked, nostalgic piece titled "Jennifer". Right off the bat, Fazerdaze transports us to a warm, optimistic sonic space with her glistening synths and mellow acoustic guitar strums, and her smooth, effortless vocals, too, drift unhurriedly atop what percussion appears. provide that aspect of authenticity we previously mentioned. It all comes across as extremely genuine and carefree, and because of that, we think "Jennifer" is a song that's appropriate for any kind of low-key occasion. If you'd like to listen to the rest of Fazerdaze's self-titled EP after listening to her track below, you can do so on Soundcloud. Also, consider downloading her project on her Bandcamp or buying a physical copy of it HERE.
