Fantastic Fantastic is an electronic-pop duo that flirts with the types of psychedelic sounds that made bands like MGMT famous in the early 2000s, and though they haven't hit it big yet, there's plenty of time for their particular brand to have its day in the sun and launch the duo onto a much bigger stage. So far, their releases have been both well-polished and creative, and both of these qualities are absolutely necessary if the two plan on turning the heads of music fans constantly bombarded with one flashy track after another. "Boulevard" is the duo's latest piece, and it's no different from its predecessors in that it's all the same laid-back style that "The Night" and "Houses" did. However, with that said, there's something else here, too, that separates it from the pack. Maybe it's just the composition, or maybe its the songwriting, but there's a maturity to this one that is instantly felt right after you hit play. The sound is captivating, and it's the kind that defines a band as they move forward past infancy and into the early stages of a long and successful tenure. Naturally, we're going to implore you to take a listen to what we mean, and we urge anyone into good pop to grab the track and keep their eyes and ears glued to their social media for news of future releases. You're not going to want to be late to the party when they come out with something new again.
