Fallen is one of Super Recordings' (AlunaGeorge, We The Wild, HONNE) latest signings, and based on the very limited info out there regarding the artist, we're thin on things to say other than what's presented with what we're assuming is the producer's official debut EP, Moving Me On. The EP was released back on July 14th, but the odd thing is that we haven't even seen the label tweet about or post up their music on their webpage. According to the EP's listing on Beatport, Amazon, and iTunes, the body of work is definitely being sold on the label, so we're confused in that sense, but musically, we're elated, because the three-track EP cuts through any shaky information. Moving Me On is the work's namesake, and, as we've mentioned, it features three tracks—two of which are originals that feature vocals from Ruby Wood (Submotion Orchestra) and UK-newcomer Porter Shields—and the final track, a remix from Walter Ego. Fallen's production throughout is mint, perfectly uplifting, and never once does it hog up the spotlight (even though it's his EP) on the vocalist-featuring tracks. His sound ventures into soul (from the help of the vocalists), but based on his production alone, the newcomer has a talent for swaying in and around dance, disco, and funk accents. It's accessible and something we think you guys are really going to dig, so help us unearth the work by checking out the two songs below, and then making the purchase of the three on iTunes.
