Fans of Fakear already know that he rarely disappoints with his electronic brand, and while he might not be having the most prolific year in terms of work released, his latest release, "Animal", reminds us well of his unparalleled sound. An accessibly abstract structure is what's most noticeable on the piece, and Oriental-sounding synths and tingling percussion make it come together in gleaming fashion. Gently paced drums only bolster the aforementioned sonic tones, and they portray the Frenchman's continual ability to bring about laid-back and interesting sounds. "Animal" is certainly an interesting number, and it'll absolutely please electronic fans looking for something that's enjoyable but just a bit different as well.
