Belgium-based four-piece Faces On TV released a debut EP about a month ago, and the second track from it, "Traveling Blind", is definitely the standout from the body of work. The band describes their own sound as "trip-pop", and we find that title to be quite fitting after listening to the aforementioned song. Acoustic guitar strums and a dark, gloomy voice may seem to posses traditional pop qualities here, but with the addition of dazzling synths and hints of haunting electronic production, what we have is an emotional, genre-bending effort we enjoy quite a lot. Make sure to check out the rest of the album in addition to this track, as it contains other creative-sounding material that's worth checking out.
