EZA is an artist that you're going to want to get to know as quickly as possible. We first learned of her from "High & Low", a dizzying electro-pop effort off her debut EP, Means of Escape, and, shortly thereafter, we premiered another outstanding track from her called "Headlights". Now, after nine months of staying quiet, she's returned with her biggest, boldest effort to date, "We Keep The Lights Out". EZA's vocals are absolutely brilliant over the foundation of sensually soft synths and crisp electronic percussion she has. Once the chorus hits, however, a more intense wave of synths wash over the piece, adding the perfect amount of passion and potency to it. EZA states that "We Keep The Lights Out" is her first song about love, and although she doesn't want it to be misinterpreted for feeding the hookup culture, she doesn't mind if people want to put it on their make-out playlist.
