EXROYALE has been a favorite of ours since they came out swinging with their debut track, "Give It Up", and even back then, we knew that the guys were on to something special. Fast-forward past a couple of remixes and follow-up singles, and EXROYALE is still showing tons of promise a they continue to grow and develop as a band. Thier music has been carefully curated thus far, and if you were to peruse their back catalogue at this very moment, you would find a rather short list of very well-executed tracks. They've gone for quality over quantity, and it's serving them very well. While they have yet to truly realize their full potential as a name, there's no reason to believe they wont in the very near future, and if you want our two cents, EXROYALE is definitely headed for bigger and better things. Their newest track serves as testament to this growth, as "Stuck In My Head" is both a superbly crafted piece of pop, as well as huge step forward when it comes to the bands sound development. If you're at all familiar with their other work, then this song will make sure you stay an EXROYALE fan, but it'll also make you acutely aware of the fact that the band isn't about to rest on its laurels and let their style stagnate. Gone is the happy-go-lucky synth lines that you enjoyed in their first couple songs, and in their place is a much darker aesthetic that's both engaging and exciting. Fresh off their collaboration with JMR, the band is now very eager to show us a more gritty side to their music, and they've knocked their first impression out of the park. Since this one's a bit of a surprise for us, we're not really sure where they're going to go from here, but you can bet we'll be waiting eagerly to find out.
