EXROYALE has only one original single to their name right now, but they're moving fast and just released this massive remix from none other than New York indie-pop veterans, Ra Ra Riot. The remix is good by pretty much all standards, but what's really cool about the rework is that Ra Ra Riot respected the stripped-down approach that EXROYALE went with for with the original mix, and just ran with it. When you listen to the two songs back to back, you'll recognize a huge difference in instrumentation and production styles, but what remains constant through both of the run times is the ultra-sparse sound layering that everyone fell in love with the first time around. Often times, remixes work in exactly the opposite way, by changing up the build entirely, but Ra Ra Riot took a different approach with their version, and definitely did it justice.
