If you're a fan of female vocalist-led electronic-pop, the influx of new artists meeting the specificiations that we've been posting recently has probably been a bit overwhelming. We can definitely sympathize, but sometimes you just have to suck it up and stuff more acts into your short-term memory. When you've the likes of NYC-based EVVY hitting your ears, you don't have a choice; you've got to make space for her sound (and once you listen to "Haze", you'll agree wholeheartedly). Production from Mickey Valen allows EVVY's vocals to glide alongside the seasoned pop sound the former has become known for (check out his work with AYER HERE, and his work with Noosa HERE), and almost instantaneously on the effort, you'll realize that the combination is one meant to have happened. "Haze" happens to be EVVY's debut offering, but within its scope, we find her potential clearly laid out for us. The yet-to-be-identified vocalist has apparently already written her debut album, so definitely look for her to release more material from it soon.
