It's been about a half a year since we came across—and first posted about—Evence, a blissful-sounding electronic producer from New York, New York. It's not like he hasn't been to work since that time, though. There have been several works he's dropped since, but, until today, none have been quite as captivating to our ears. You, a brand-new, seemingly spontaneously uploaded two-track EP from the producer, is now changing that trend, and, within, we find two emotion-soaked works that we really enjoy. "Emotions", the first track, is super beautiful from beginning to end, and, though it seems to borrow some sonic similarities from another favorite electronic producer of ours, Tenru, that's really no bad thing. There's a sweet, iced-out rhythm attached to the sound, and, as it progresses along with its smooth samples and very clean, crisp drums, it sees itself explode into a more driven, exciting sonic territory come its end. "Be With You", the project's second track, is also a burning one, and it manages to reel listeners in with a hypnotic, melodic sound that again makes wonderful use of Evence's percussive chops. It's downtempo through and through and playful with its vocal modulations throughout, and it provides a rather relaxing and evocative listen overall.
