We were told that Evan Roman likes to do most of her composing and songwriting in the bathtub, so while the concept of a bubble-infused bathroom sing-along super-edit seems a little out of left field at first, it starts to make a bit more sense once you realize that this is where the vast majority of her music got it start. Yes, it may be a tad unorthodox, but we're not complaining, because it seems to be working for her. Evan Roman is one of the creative minds behind a good chunk of Macklemore's The Heist, and her new EP, Lots of Love, is no slouch either. Like the track , the accompanying video here isn't too worried about trying to woo you over with flash. Rather, it's the honesty of the visuals that really hammer home the quiet confidence in the effort itself. "Colorado" was only recorded once, and then never touched again. If you listen very carefully to the audio, you can pick out some inconsistencies here and there, but in this case, it's the rough edges that really give this one its magic. So too does the video win you over with that same raw finish, and when both are enjoyed in tandem, the experience really does come full circle.
