It's not often Chrome Sparks lends out a remixing hand, but when it's Erik Hassle we're talking about, we imagine remixing his work is hard to pass up, because his recently released EP, Somebody's Party, is one of the best projects of the year thus far. "Pathetic" was one of the highlights from it, and so you know Chrome Sparks had to do it justice, because, like all his previous work that defies sonic conventionalism, his new interpretation here follows suit as a constant wave of ever-changing melodies and varietal sounds that attack the senses in ways that only Jeremy Malvin can make happen.
