18-year-old producing prodigy Eric Dingus emits sound out of his being the way an athlete emits sweat out of his or her body. It's an entirely natural process, because Eric Dingus is an entirely natural producer, and if you've any background information at all on the kid, you'd know exactly what I mean. Dingus' life literally revolves around the art he creates, and he creates a lot of it, never skimping on quality despite his breathtakingly consistent productions. "Koholint Island" is the latest surreal soundscape of his to appear on the internet, and I've played it a dozen times or so times since I've begun this post. The ethereality of the track is insane, and all of the synths, sensual vocal loops, and percussive elements assisting the sound lure the listener into an energizing bliss that enraptures entirely. "Koholint Island" will appear as a bonus track on Dingus' re-released project Post-Suicide Limerence that drops alongside the new year.
