Employee Of The Year is the latest in a long line of artists producing incredible electronic pop to emanate from France. The Parisian duo have taken time out from their entertaining remixes in order to complete their second EP which drops today. The opening tracks are the epitome of French electro-pop done right. Catchy vocals and bouncy synths are spread liberally across both "Coming" and "Somethin About", a bold opening to this latest venture. After the initial pleasantries, Employee Of The Year grant themselves the indulgence of experimentation. "On My Own" is a stripped back affair, a minimal offering with finger clicks aplenty that wouldn't sound out of place on a Rhye record with the accompaniment of Milosh's distinct vocals. The EP finishes strong with "Berlin", a track that slowly crescendoes to an electronic finale before ultimately stripping itself back to the bare elements. A poignant ending to an impressive EP. Un travail bien fait!
