The talented Emmit Fenn is only a couple weeks away from the release of his debut EP, Prologue, and what better way for us to further familiarize ourselves with his sonic endeavors than with the release of a new, Nylo-assisted track titled "Oceans" out today. The Californian producer has unfurled several layers of his sound with each single, with the soul-heavy "Woman" being the latest of the pack. On "Oceans"—with Nylo's soothing, lush deliveries—Emmit knits together spacey atmospheres and further hoists his sonic prowess on the hooks, as bursting, bass-fueled chords give rise to a seriously dance-worthy, modern pop tune as a whole. We're awaiting two more new tracks from the Berkeley native's upcoming EP, but, until then, we've plenty to reflect on with the release of "Oceans" today and his past work as well. Dive in below.
