The original mix of this track is a jazz-infused single that burns slow at first, but heats up just when you want it to. It's not going to overwhelm your ears with anything brash or frantic, but by the time the track is in full swing, you're helplessly hooked. It seems Tiger Tsunami has taken cues from the way the original eased you into its listening experience, and then proceeded to rework the song's production until he arrived at his desired levels of smooth, which in this case, are off the charts. The track is a chill-out weapon because of the additions, and if you're looking for something to sit back to, then there is absolutely no need to look any further. We just reviewed one of Tom Misch's new tracks here a couple days ago, and his mastery of relaxed production work is second to none, but with this latest remix, Tiger Tsunami may just give him a run for his money. There is a lot more synthesizer work in play on the remix here, but the tone is there in spades, and the pacing and beats are on point. Emily and The Woods provided a great point of reference for Tiger Tsunami to do his thing, but the guy knocked it out of the absolute park, and the way in which he executed this beautiful piece's genre-defying nature deserves some major recognition.
