We've been seeing Masta Ace tweet about a possible new EMC (Masta Ace, Wordsworth, Punchline, and Stricklin) album this year, but we haven't been holding our breath for it, because you never know what's going to happen. Thankfully, our skepticism happened to be short-lived with the release of the first new track from EMC in five years with "Spun A Web". According to their SoundCloud, this track is leading off a new EP, and not an album. We were hoping for a full-length, but it's OK that they're deciding to share their sound in a smaller package, because we';; take what we can get from the star-studded rap group. And if you've never heard EMC's debut, The Show, from 2008, shame on you!
