Passion Pit is one of the most influential indie bands of the decade, and their lead singer-songwriter, Michael Angelakos, deserves credit for the claim. Today, however, we're shining the spotlight on pop artist Elohim, as she has decided to cover one of the group's fairly underplayed tracks, "Hideaway". Earlier this week, Michael surprised both his and Elohim's fans with a cover of "All That Gold", and, now, Elohim has returned the favor with a tantalizing cover of "Hideaway". The LA-based talent injects her fusion of ethereal electronic and gliding vocals on her take here, and her efforts are amazing from beginning to end, which is no surprise, given that they usually are.
